Materials, as a designer sees them
Suppliers write about materials from the seller’s side. We write from the side of the person who has to revisit that home in five years. This series is what we have learned in sample rooms, stone yards, joinery workshops and on site, written in the language a homeowner can use to decide for themselves, one material at a time.
